When should I book my appointment?
Please remember to book your appointment at least 2 months in advance as you may need multiple vaccinations. But don’t worry – you can come to see us any time before a trip for a consultation. There is no such thing as being too late when it comes to your health, safety and well-being.
What can I expect from a pre-travel health consult?
A pre-travel health consult is 30 minute consultation during which the doctor will provide you advice tailored to your travel itinerary. The doctor will make a vaccine plan for you and book you in for the vaccinations needed over the course of the next few weeks/months.
Why do I have to complete a Travel Health Questionnaire?
It is essential that individual travellers complete a separate questionnaire. This will help us provide you advice and vaccinations that align with your needs. Please remember that you will have to completed and send us the Travel Health Questionnaire at ncadmin@phcl.health.nz prior to your appointment.
What should I bring to the appointment?
